HAGAR RESHEF / SOLO TRAVEL & LIFE ALONG THE WAY

A woman
on the roads.

I’m Hagar. I travel solo, work along the way, and feel most myself somewhere out in nature.

Almost two years around Australia in a 1990 van. Then 3,000 km across Thailand on my little pink scooter.

I didn’t start out knowing how to do any of this. I learned on the way.

SOLO SINCE 15 / ON THE MOVE SINCE 2023

Okay, how did
I end up here?

At 17, I spent two months walking across Israel with everything on my back. My first solo trip had been at 15. I wanted more.

Australia was where I learned how much I could actually handle. An old van. Dirt roads. No idea whether the road ahead went on for ten kilometres or a thousand.

Enough water? Something broken? My problem to figure out. Sometimes that meant fixing things myself. Sometimes it meant asking for help.

Slowly, I started trusting myself. I could deal with things I’d never done before.

Coming back to Israel was a hard landing. Then came Sri Lanka, local buses and food that made me sweat. Bangkok became home for over a year. Eventually, I packed up my pink scooter and rode to Pai.

These days, I work in content and marketing while I travel. Sometimes I stay for months. Sometimes I keep moving. There’s room for both.

Still living the story. Still adding chapters.

My chapters.

BANGKOK → PAI

Three weeks.
3,000 km.
One pink Scoopy.

I took the small roads, through towns and places along the way, and filmed the trip in English.

This is the first part: Bangkok to Ayutthaya.

PASSING IT ON

A bit of a
big sister, too.

I’ve helped dozens of people prepare for their own trip to Australia.

Very much in a big-sister kind of way: sharing what I’d learned, talking through their questions, and giving them the tools to go and figure out their own adventure.

That’s a big part of why I share all this 🌻
